We plan and manage carefully coordinated journeys across the country, working with a selective collection of lodges, hotels, yachts and activity partners that we know personally and trust completely.

Madagascar is a destination that rewards experience — distances are deceptive, logistics are complex, and not everything that looks good online works well in reality.

Our role is to guide clients through those realities — honestly, realistically, and from the outset.

Founded on first-hand experience

MadagasCaT was founded by Harriet Millson, a Madagascar specialist with over 18 years of first-hand experience travelling extensively throughout the country.

Over the years, Harriet has built long-standing, relationship-driven partnerships with accommodation owners, skippers, guides and operators across Madagascar — relationships that are based on trust, consistency and deep local knowledge.

This experience shapes every itinerary we design.

Our recommendations are informed by repeated visits, operational insight, and an understanding of what genuinely works for different types of travellers — not marketing promises or generic descriptions.

Lucilia Cronje-Gomes serves as Harriet’s Personal Assistant, supporting the day-to-day coordination and smooth running of MadagasCaT. With a strong background in administration, travel coordination and client communication, she manages scheduling, correspondence and logistics with efficiency and discretion. Her calm, organised approach and strong service ethic make her an invaluable point of contact for both clients and suppliers.
