Sakatia Beachfront Villas & Sakalav Dune Diving – Nosy Be, Madagascar

This 7-night scuba package is designed for certified divers who want easy access to a wide variety of dive sites while staying on the quiet island of Nosy Sakatia, just off Nosy Be.

The package combines beachfront accommodation at Sakatia Beachfront Villas with five mornings of guided diving with Sakalav’ Diving, one of the longest-established dive operators in the area with one full day’s excursion to Nosy Iranja and Nosy Antsoa Lemur Park and one day at leisure.

Diving takes place at sites around Nosy Be and nearby islands, offering a mix of shallow reefs, plateaux, wrecks, coral gardens and reef walls, with good visibility and warm water year-round.

Diving Schedule

Diving is scheduled for five consecutive mornings, leaving afternoons free.

A typical dive day includes:

  • Morning departure by boat

  • First guided dive

  • Surface interval

  • Second guided dive

  • Return to Sakatia around midday

This schedule allows for relaxed afternoons to snorkel, kayak, explore the island or simply enjoy the beach.

Dive Sites

Dive sites in this area vary in depth and topography and are suitable for intermediate to experienced divers, with some shallower sites available depending on conditions.

Marine life commonly encountered includes:

  • Reef sharks (occasionally)

  • Healthy coral and sponge formations
