Head out aboard Maki-Cat 2 for a full day on the water, then return to the island for a swim, a cold drink, dinner prepared by your private chef and an evening overlooking the ocean.
And because the fishing is arranged around your group, you decide how much you want to fish.

YOUR ISLAND BASE AT SAKATIA BEACHFRONT VILLA
Villa Ranomasy is a private beachfront villa with three air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms, each with its own terrace. A generous open verandah provides plenty of space for meals and relaxing, while the private freshwater pool is particularly welcome after a long day on the water.
Meals are part of the experience too, with your private chef preparing breakfast and dinner using fresh local ingredients. The villa also has tea and coffee facilities and a stocked honesty bar, and guests are welcome to bring their own wine and spirits.
It is also the perfect base for groups where not everyone wants to fish. While the anglers head out for the day, partners, friends or family can relax at the villa, explore Sakatia's local villages, spend the day on the beach or arrange their own island and marine excursions — before everyone meets back at the villa in the evening.

MEET MAKI-CAT 2
Your dedicated sport-fishing boat for the waters around Nosy Be.
Maki-Cat 2 is a 12-metre sport-fishing catamaran, offering a stable and spacious platform for fishing the reefs, drop-offs and offshore waters surrounding Nosy Be and its neighbouring islands.
Powered by twin 140hp Suzuki outboards, she is equipped with Garmin GPS and fish finder, outriggers and fishing equipment for trolling, jigging and popping.
There is comfortable seating and shade aboard, making her particularly well suited to full fishing days, whether your group consists of experienced anglers or guests simply wanting to enjoy a day out on the water.
Maki-Cat 2 is operated by skipper Joe and experienced deckhand Fabrice, who know these waters and their fishing grounds extremely well.

Villa Ranomasy is available from €450 per villa per night. With three en-suite bedrooms and space for up to six guests, that works out at just €75 per person per night when six share.
Travelling with a bigger group? For groups of 8 or 10 guests, simply add the adjacent Sakatia Beachfront Duplex, giving everyone more space while keeping the accommodation cost at the same €75 per person per night, based on two people sharing a room.
Add half board at €35 per person per day and choose exactly how many days you want to spend fishing aboard Maki-Cat 2.
Fishing is €800 per boat per day for up to five fishermen, or €900 per boat per day for six or more fishermen.
Return airport transfers are €75 per person.
The real advantage is flexibility. Fish every day, add just two or three fishing days, or let the anglers head out while partners, friends and family enjoy the villa and Nosy Sakatia.
