MadagasCaT is working in collaboration with BYND.XP to offer a remote, small-group kite surfing experience in one of Madagascar’s most spectacular marine landscapes: the Emerald Sea, near Diego Suarez.
Expect reliable wind, clear turquoise water, wild scenery, dhow-supported kite sessions, fresh seafood, and a lodge set deep within a nature reserve.
This is Madagascar at its most adventurous.
Who This Trip Is For
Intermediate to advanced kite surfers
Wingfoilers
Adventure travellers
Riders who want remote, uncrowded conditions
People who understand that the best places are rarely the easiest to reach
This is not a beginner kite course or a standard resort holiday.
The Kiting
The Emerald Sea offers exceptional riding conditions, with wind speeds generally between 20 and 35 knots during the trip period. Sessions are planned across a variety of spots, from butter-flat water to reef breaks, with daily downwinders and dhow-supported access.
The main kite spot is La Piscine, known for its extraordinarily clear water.
A support crew assists with setting up and packing down kites, and a dhow follows the group to the kite spots, allowing riders to focus on the water rather than the logistics.
What To Expect
Remote kite spots that very few people have ever ridden
Non-stop wind and long water sessions
Dhow-supported access to multiple locations
Flat water, reef breaks and daily downwinders
Fresh seafood caught locally
Snorkelling and Indian Ocean exploring
Wildlife and island scenery
A small, social group atmosphere
Epic drone and water footage of your riding
A real adventure, but with comfort at the end of the day
This is a trip for people who want more than just a beach and a kite launch.
