Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The competition is promoted by MadagasCaT Travel (“the Promoter”).
2. The Prizes
Two winning couples will receive:
7 nights’ accommodation for two (2) adults at the Sakatia Beachfront Duplex, Nosy Sakatia
OR
7 nights’ accommodation for two (2) adults at the Villa Makoa, Nosy Be
Dinner & breakfast daily included during the stay
Return airport transfers between Nosy Be Airport and Lodge
One private boat excursion around Nosy Sakatia, including a stop to snorkel with turtles for the Sakatia winner only
✈️ Bonus: One person out of of the two competition-winning couples (across all prizes) will also receive a complimentary return Airlink flight ticket between Johannesburg (JNB) and Nosy Be (NOS), subject to the conditions set out below.
3. Travel Validity
The prize is valid for travel between 5 May 2026 and 30 November 2026
All travel is subject to availability
Travel dates must be confirmed directly with MadagasCaT and the lodge concerned
4. Blackout Periods (Peak Season)
The prize may not be taken during peak travel periods, including:
South African school holidays
Easter period
15 December to 15 January
These blackout dates apply regardless of availability.
5. Airlink Ticket Conditions (Bonus Prize)
If awarded, the Airlink ticket is subject to the following conditions:
Ticket type: Return airfare
Route: Johannesburg (JNB) ↔ Nosy Be (NOS) only
Taxes: Included
Booking class: Subject to availability
Name changes: Not permitted once ticket is issued
Travel days: Flights must be taken on Tuesdays only
Travel validity: Outside of South African school holidays and peak travel periods
The Airlink ticket is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
6. Airlink Bonus Ticket Allocation
One complimentary Airlink return flight ticket will be awarded to one of the two main prize winners.
The bonus ticket will be allocated to the winner who, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, demonstrates the greatest effort in inviting friends to follow the MadagasCaT Facebook page during the competition period.
Evidence of invitations may be requested and must be submitted within the timeframe specified by the Promoter.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Travel insurance
Any flights not expressly included in the prize
Beverages not included in standard meals
Personal expenses, gratuities, or optional activities not specified in the prize description
8. Eligibility
The competition is open to persons 18 years and older
Entrants must be legally able to travel internationally
Employees of MadagasCaT Travel, Sakatia Beachfront Duplex, Villa Makoa, Airlink, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter
9. How to Enter
Entry is free and available via the official entry form hosted on madagascat.co.za
Only one entry per person is permitted
Entries must be received before the competition closing date
10. Competition Period
Launch date: Sunday, 25th January 2026
Closing date: Monday, 9th February 2026 at 23:59 (SAST)
Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
11. Winner Selection
The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries
The draw will take place within 48 hours of the competition closing date
The winner will be notified directly via the email address provided on entry and on MadagasCaT’s social media platforms
If a winner cannot be contacted within five (5) working days or is unable to accept the prize in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw.
12. Prize Conditions
The prize is non-transferable
The prize is not redeemable for cash
The prize may not be sold, exchanged, or auctioned
Travel must be completed within the stated validity period
13. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to reasonable use of their name and/or images for promotional purposes related to the competition. No additional compensation will be provided.
14. Data Protection
Personal information collected will be used solely for:
Administering the competition
Contacting the winner
Future MadagasCaT Travel communications (unless the entrant opts out)
Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent.
15. General
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into
