The West: Baobabs, Tsingy and Fossa Tour

Day One:

Arrive Morondava.  Transfer to the Chez Maggie Hotel for overnight.

Day Two:

Early morning departure north crossing the Tsiribihina River by ferry boat (lunch on own) to Bekopaka, at the entrance to the Tsingy de Bemaraha. Visit the Petite Tsingy de Bemaraha
(if time allows).
Overnight Tanakoay Lodge. (B)

Day Three:

Early morning canoe to the Gorges of the Manambolo River. Afternoon exploring the Grande Tsingy. Overnight Tanakoay Lodge. (B)

Day Four:

Return overland south to the Kirindy Forest. Evening walks in the forest.
Overnight in rustic bungalows in the forest. (B)

 

 

Day Five:

Early morning walk in the forest and return from Kirindy to Morondava with stops at the Baobabs in Love and the Ave of the Baobabs. Overnight Chez Maggie. (B)

 

 

 

Day Six:

Transfer to the airport for outbound flights (B).
