Our Opinion: This is another of our favourites, good value, good food, good people. Well experienced in the various dive spots around Nosy Be and have a wide knowledge of the area.

Situated at the narrowest part of Sakatia Island this lodge offers you two coast lines and right next to the lodge is a Sacred Forest. Nobody is entirely sure of the reason for it being sacred but suffice to say no one may go into it. The lodge did get permission a few years ago to create a path through it but very soon afterwards the path was destroyed by a cyclone - that provided the locals with proof that indeed the ancestors were protecting the forest and since then nobody has been allowed in!

Jose and Isabella are some of our favourite friends in Madagascar and they are excellent hosts. Isabella's kitchen is spotless and the food she produces is delicious. Their rooms are tastefully furnished with prints and fabrics designed by Isabella.

This lodge comes highly recommended by MadagasCaT. You will want to return.
