Our Opinion: This is a great stop if one has to overnight in Tamatave. Cheap and cheerful with good food and Jean Marc's hospitality provides a bonus spark to the place. If you have to stay in Tamatave and do not want to spend a fortune then Labourdonnais is the place to stay. We would even go so far as to say that you should stay here anyway. You will not regret it.

Jean Marc is a charming and helpful host. He will go out of his way to make your stay in Tamatave an enjoyable one. His dinner menu is well known and the position of the hotel makes for easy exploring.
